Speak up for yourself, stand up for yourself and never let anyone tell you, you cannot but also listen to others point of view void of your point of view.

Demanding that people listen is only an option when you are also willing to listen to them and give them an equal opportunity to change your mind.  This is difficult, it takes courage and sometimes it’s not possible but to strive for this daily is the right struggle.  Love yourself enough to want what is best for all and not just what is best for yourself, the only way to come close to this goal is to listen to others, try to see their point of view and be willing to change your mind no matter how you feel.
