Pain and suffering are guaranteed in life, happiness, love and joy are not, treasure every last second of those times.

Humans have become the dominate lifeform on the planet for several reasons, one of the biggest is our ability to adapt to change.  Another big reason is that most humans have an unending drive to move forward, evolve and grow but that means our focus is often on the future and not the present.  Sometimes the best moments come when you least expect them, appreciate them as you will find that getting older brings more responsibility, more pain and suffering.  Thankfully it also brings wisdom and that wisdom will allow you to deal with those things more effectively and therefore find more moments of happiness, joy and love.
